Allis Tool was incorporated in 1953 as a manual machine shop delivering machined components to customer prints. In March of 1997 Allis Tool was sold to William York and private investors. York’s tooling and Design & Build management experiences were a solid fit in charting Allis Tool’s direction as they entered a new millennium.

Allis Tool maintains a solid reputation, and is recognized as the can do tool room for OEM’s nationally with emphasis in the Midwest. Allis Tool was an easy sell to York and investors for the following reasons:
