A significant portion of this project involved the dredging and water main installation across the Lafayette River, a distance of approximately 1,700 feet, requiring close coordination with the Army Corps of Engineers and the U. S. Coast Guard.
Prepared the winning estimate and served as Project Manager for the Lake Ridge Force Main Realignment, 3,500 feet of 48-inch ceramic-lined ductile iron force main for the Hampton Roads Sanitation District.
Prepared the winning estimate and served as Project Manager for the Centerville Turnpike Force Main Extension, 10,500 feet of 36-inch ceramic-lined ductile iron force main across a swamp and the Intercoastal Waterway for the Hampton Roads Sanitation District. This project required the open excavation of the Intercoastal Waterway and adjacent wetlands for a distance of approximately 0.4 miles. This project required close coordination with the Army Corps of Engineers and the U. S. Coast Guard.
