Request, track and document submittal process and RFI's with sub-contractors, architects and engineers. Oversee and follow-up with LEED project documentation. Do take offs to aid in technical cost analysis. Assist in bidding processes. Research and qualify potential bidders. Negotiate quotes and generate purchase orders for site services. Company Safety Officer responsible for hazard communications education and distributing and compiling meeting minutes, toolbox topics and MSDS Sheets.

Company Riggs Contracting, Inc.: Project coordinator/ Purchasing agent (March 2006-July 2007). Supervised purchase of all services within quoted contracts for 3 internal Riggs Companies. Purchased and coordinated all material deliveries. Responsible for tracking of rental equipment and machinery.
Bridged language and field communications with office. Maintained accounts with vendors and negotiated new accounts with vendors. Tracked and reported job costs to accounting. New employee training. Inventoried, ordered and stocked large tool and material yard and warehouse. Checked out equipment to field personnel.

tools for shop and field. Scheduled shipments and deliveries of equipment and materials. Analyzed blue-prints for take-offs of materials and labor costs. Maintained communication with General Contractors and Field Superintendents to ensure progress of jobs and coordinated schedule . Generated leads for new vendors and researched potential bids.

Created and purchased all material lists. Did job take-offs and estimation of material costs. Helped to generate change orders and revisions of contracts.
