Scope of work accomplished was coordinated with multiple employees, following the directive of construction executive and applied an understanding of the manufacturers recommendations, use, and application of building products. Took charge as Senior Superintendent over 7 Superintendents, 8 Project Engineers, 1 Field Engineer, 1 Safety Specialist and 400 trades people. While Project Superintendent oversaw 1 Area Superintendent, 1 Field Engineer and 1 Project Engineer and 30 trades people.
Planning / Leadership: Charged and challenged by independently operating General Contracting and Construction company to implement new plan to build what started as a $78M project and ended as $100M project within completion date. Trained staff to erect 298 foot long trusses for an addition to a church with flawless issues yet completed on time.
Organizing / Field work: Directed new concrete forming crew of 40 tradesmen, directed and coordinated all aspects of project organization including scheduling of resources, safety and field costs for new construction; reviewed production reports, weekly; project completed within budget. Was awarded the Silver Hardhat Award for the Outstanding Private Project in Colorado 2003.
Directing Site Inspections / Quality Control: Collaborated with employers / architects / owners; held project meetings, abided by deadlines, consistently, to erect a structural steel and precast over 5 existing buildings - while access was blocked off by excavation of 40 ft. underground precast parking garage. Held daily inspections, determined to develop a tower crane plan (using 2 Potain MD 485 Tower Cranes). The completed construction of 20,000 pound pieces of structural and 22, 000 pound pieces of precast - was simultaneous, while constructing the underground parking garage.
Cost Controlling / Client Satisfaction: Ensured workmanship conformed to specifications and adherence to construction schedules; kept to budget 100% and on-time with each project. Developed trainings for Areas Superintendents and managed production reporting, safety audits, 4-week look ahead schedule and manpower reporting, resulting in 2 Project Area Superintendents have built skills to move to Project Superintendents, client satisfaction realized was 100%, as well.

Began early career with HBE from managing shop drawings and change orders as Project Engineer (1978), then left company to return, to an expanded management and leadership role with full responsibilities as Superintendent (1991). Had the vision to expand and lead the company in the greatest success which was to build on sound marketing strategies, create individualized staff trainings (for Project Engineers), and expand the existing clients through improved relationships on all steps of projects taken on by company. Over last period of three years with company, oversaw 8 Project Superintendents and 8 Project Engineers.

Competently and succinctly monitored all preconstruction in design-build projects with healthcare industry. Harvey company traced back to 1939, originally Harvey Construction Company which was founded by Paul H. Harvey. 1960s the company broadened scope to include general construction and renovation of hospitals, nursing homes, hi-tech facilities, office buildings, schools, college buildings and wastewater treatment facilities. During 1980s, Harvey was acknowledged to be the largest general contractor in New Hampshire with revenues of $90M per year. The core services of pre-construction planning, construction management, general contracting, design/build and job order contracting integrate all elements of planning and construction, today.
