Extensive labor relation experience negotiation with the IBEW and other labor unions. Testified and presented cases for management in labor disputes before the Council of Industrial Relations in Washington DC. Worked for NECA in the late 1960s handling labor problems, and also taught Electrical Estimating to contractors on the West coast. Technical editor of Electrical Contractor Magazine from the late 1960s to 1973. Was involved in the complete redesign of the NECA Manual of Labor Units in the early 1970s. Did final electrical estimate for Corp. of Engineers on US NMD Initial Deployment Facility, Phase I, Shemya, Alaska Island, Erickson Air Station and Fort Greeley, Alaska in April 2000.
