Assigned to manage a new Fire Splrinkler System Installation in 25-year old building for there client, United Space Alliance,Inc, who is a NASA-HOUSTON Prime Contractor - with 9- buildings in the Clear Lake area . I was responsible for all on-site management of sub-contractors as after-hour work scopes (5 PM till 3 AM) to assure clients safety for there normal work days.Project was done under budget and on time in 5-month time frame.The 2nd PROJECT started in January with same client to put cost together ENERGY ENHANSEMENT/SAVING including various MEP work scopes, for the 9-buildings.In a earlier energineered study by a 3-rd party that idenified possible work scopes;savings and the owner selected from those based on safety, life cycle concerns and savings/ paybacks, generally under 5-years. I handled all RFP's bids from vendors, labor costs and detailed work scopes. This took about 3-months to consolidate turn-keyed quotes and the owner representative wantd additional cost break-outs/review sections over the last month. I completed the assignment in May, 2007 and the project was awaiting NASA funding requirements.
