Senior Project Manager 2009-Present
Senior Member of the Management Team responsible for all procurement and contract management of over $800 Million of subcontracts and purchase orders for the GLOBALFOUNDRIES project, a $1.2 billion computer chip manufacturing facility in Malta, NY. The campus is comprised of 3 main buildings and ancillary buildings totaling over a 1.2 million SF with 300,000 SF of class 100 clean room. Currently its the largest privately funded construction project in the United States.
Provided and presented on a monthly bases in-depth financial forecasts, committed costs to budget summaries, cash flow forecasts, and other costs reporting information and analysis to upper management as well as the client, GLOBALFOUNDRIES.
Developed procurement and contracting strategy to enable over 150 bid packages ranging from $1million to $65 million in value to be offered, reviewed, negotiated, and awarded in less than six months.
Developed integrated systems approach to procurement by including financial, risk management, engineering, construction management, and Owners management into the procurement process enabling a fast track comprehensive bid process that significantly reduced the companys exposure to additional risk while insuring competitive marketplace pricing.
Developed an effective subcontract negotiating model by pre-negotiating subcontracts prior to announcement of award with the use of an onsite attorney, utilizing predefined alternate contract language in key areas that subcontractors took issue with without conceding any significant items.
