Responsible for Overall Construction Management of a 2 X 1 Combined Cycle Repowering Project at the Barney Davis Power Plant in Corpus Christi, TX.
The Barney M. Davis Energy Center consists of (a) the continuing operation and maintenance of an existing steam turbine power generation unit (Unit 1) having intermediate capacity of approximately 335 MW, and (b) the upgrading and re-powering of existing steam turbine to a 2-on-1 combined-cycle configuration that will yield an expected summer maximum capacity of 668 MW (heat rate of approximately 7,695 Btu/kWh). The Project is located in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Combine Cycle Units are HRSG designed by Nooter Erickson and powered by GE Series 7A Gas Turbines. Project value $510 Million.
