Ran a CAT 583K Side Boom on the bending crew in the construction and installation of 42 miles of 20" High Pressure Gas Main in Ponce', Puerto Rico. Used side boom to retrieve designated pipe from skids and transport it to the bending machine with help from the riggers. Safely guilded pipe into cradle and held steady using side boom and sling while pipe was being bent to proper angle. Upon completion of bending process, side boom was used to transport pipe back to the skids to await the welding process. Returned to bending machine to hitch-up and tow bending machine to next location. Backed bending machine onto Low-Boy trailer for transport to next location if ROW or safety concerns were in question.

Went to Kuwait with KBR as a Heavy Truck Driver where I volunteered to drive in the HET section. Duties included loading, securing and hauling Abrams A1M1 tanks, artillery pieces, dozers,trucks,trailers, hummvees, containers and various military equipment on the Oshkosh M1000 8X8 HETS. Drove under military supervision in Army or Marine convoys hauling equipment and supplies from Camp Arifjan, Kuwait to various bases around Iraq. Volunteeredt to drive in Fuel Tanker convoys after 900 truck drivers quit and went home. Hauled JP-8 Jet Fuel in 8800 gal. tankers from the tank farm in Kuwait City to various forward operating bases in Iraq. This was done under military escort and close air support. I transfered to MHE where I ran a 42K Reach Stacker and a Case 920 30K Forklift at the Kuwaiti seaport unloading containers from ships, stacking them in proper areas, uploading containers on trucks bound for Iraq and placing and monitoring any HAZMAT containers. Also used forklift to move generators, load trucks and move blast barriers around seaport.
