March 2006 April 2010: Lead Homebuilder, RYLAND HOMES Dallas
August 2008 April 2010: Responsible for the planning, scheduling, and timely construction of upper end Multi-Family Townhomes in two communities Emerald Valley in Las Colinas, and Parkview Villas in Carrollton. Between the two communities, normal volume of construction was between 12 and 18 homes under construction. Also responsible for completing all warranty/customer service calls in said communities within 7-14 business days.
March 2006 August 2008: Responsible for the planning, scheduling, and timely construction of single-family homes in four different communities: Trails of Willow Creek ($130K $180K), Bear Creek ($120K - $170K), Garden Valley ($130K 170K), and Magnolia Farms ($170K - $210K). Many of my construction supervision and warranty duties in these communities ran concurrently. A typical under-construction work-load (all neighborhoods combined) was 10-18 homes.
Awards/Recognitions: 1) Recognized as a Customer Care All-Star, 1st Qtr. 08 for receiving customer satisfaction survey scores of 4.83 out of a possible 5. 2) Recognized as the DFW Divisions Builder of the Quarter for the 3rd Qrtr. 07 for volume of closings, positive team attitude, customer satisfaction ratings, and on-time build and warranty cycle time results. 3) Awarded as the DFW Divisions Builder of the Month twice, once in 06, and once in 07. 4) Promoted from Builder II to Builder I within three months of original hire date.
April 2005 March 2006: Lead Homebuilder, DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES Dallas
April 2005 September 2005: Lead Builder in the community of Grand Peninsula, a Custom Home product neighborhood south of Joe Pool Lake, with homes ranging in price from $270K to $400K.
September 2005 March 2006: Lead Builder in the community of Bluffs of Westchester in Grand Prairie, Texas, with homes ranging in price from $150K to $175K.
Awards / Recognitions: Consistently led the builder team in my area with Definitely Would Recommend ratings on customer move-in surveys.

November 1998 April 2005: Project Manager, responsible for the timely construction and warranty service in the multi-phase Fort Worth communities of Hulen Bend (98 00) and Summer Creek Ranch (00 05), building executive-level single-family homes in the $250K to $300K range.
September 1995 November 1998: Homebuilder, and later promoted to Project Manager, in the golf-course community of Villages of Walnut Creek, and the communities of Beacon Hill and Heritage Estates.
August 1994 September 1995: Homebuilder in the affluent Myers Meadow community in Southlake, Texas, responsible for the construction supervision and warranty administration in a neighborhood of homes in the $250K - $350K price range.

February 1993 August 1994: First Lieutenant, 1st BN, 8th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division (Ft. Hood, Texas). Support Platoon Leader, responsible for the training, professional development, and welfare of over 40 soldiers and non-commissioned officers, as well as the combat readiness of 30 support vehicles and related equipment. The Support Platoons combat mission is to provide refuel services, re-armament capability, and heavy transport of the mine plows/rollers at the discretion of the Battalion Commander.
March 1992 February 1993: Second Lieutenant, 1st BN, 8th Cavalry. Tank Platoon Leader, responsible for the training, readiness, professional development, and welfare of 15 soldiers and non-commissioned officers, as well as the combat-readiness of 4 M1A1 Abrams main battle tanks.
February 1992 March 1992: Attended and graduated from Battalion Maintenance Officer Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
September 1991 February 1992: Attended Officer Basic Course for the Armor Branch at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
June 1991 September 1991: Served as training Cadre for the Cadet Basic Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky, designing and carrying out mountaineering training for incoming college Sophomore ROTC cadets.
