I hold a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia, and have received design and project awards. Managed simultaneous multi-million dollar projects. Launched two planned communities for Crescent. Built project, and developed and managed multi-disciplinary team. Installed $30M Phase 1 infrastructure within six months, on budget and on time.
Generated revenue and improved delivery. Assumed an increasing amount of the Crescent Vice Presidents responsibilities. Directed land development construction, vendor relations, and provided day-to-day sales support. Improved communication throughout division, increasing revenues 10% annually for seven plus years.
Handled complex regulatory issue. A Crescent customer discovered a year or two after closing that they had never received a permit necessary to build a dock, devaluing their waterfront property. Negotiated for time to obtain a grandfathered permit. Worked with regulatory agencies to expedite issuing of new permit, rescuing sale.
Conducted feasibility study to secure capital budget allocation. Crescent controller needed cost data to determine potential projects viability. Analyzed previous budgets, overall master development plan and cost data from contractors to provide accurate estimates. Achieved approval from Executive Committee.
Improved customer satisfaction. Customer complaints had escalated and Crescent required a more efficient approval process of custom housing product. Instituted plan review process through Architectural Control Committee. Ensured customer expectations were properly set, reducing complaints 75%.
Director of Operations, Sustainable Development Services, Inc., a consulting firm, 2008 to Present. Provide clients with a variety of construction and development services, such as feasibility studies, land acquisition and entitling, pro forma preparation, bid processing, market studies, contractor oversight and construction administration.
Operations/Project Manager - North Charlotte Metro Profit Center, Crescent Resources, LLC, a division of $400M real estate development company, 2000 to 2008. Oversaw development, sales and operations of profit center for six residential communities. Managed up to $30M budget and five personnel.
Design Staff, Haden Stanziale, Inc., a planning, landscape architecture and civil engineering firm, 1997 to 2000. Provided project entry and construction documentation for commercial and residential projects, and site design for residential and resort communities.
