C. KENNETH HARRISON
174 KATHERINE DRIVE, GRENADA, MS 38901
I am a 30+ year veteran in residential construction with an outstanding background in client relations and quality control. I have a solid knowledge of the residential building industry and some light commercial. As a forward looking professional home builder, building homes since the mid-seventies, I have acquired a knowledge unsurpassed in this ever-changing field of Real Estate. Although a veteran in the industry, I have a propensity to grasp new ideas, as the tools of this wonderful business change on a daily basis. I have a solid understanding of the building process from design, redline plans, and permit process, to obtaining the C.O. I have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of construction practices and techniques and believe heavily in team building, making certain the project comes in on time, within budget, and that it is scheduled properly. The home building industry is a true passion of mine and I truly look forward toward the giving of my knowledge to the perfect organization, sharing my accomplishments and collaborating with co-workers on problem solving and techniques.
Scheduling: Responsible for creating, reviewing, updating, and maintaining the project schedule.
Quality Control: Because of my Hands On experience, I am able to inspect and give constructive advice on the correct application.
Self Sufficient: Certain company strategies are to do things differently to separate themselves from other builders, however, certainly I would want to familiarize myself with the policies of the company I work for but I do not have to be micro-managed.
Client Relations: The single most important item in a project.
Computer Proficient: I am proficient in WORD, Microsoft Excel, Quick Books Pro as well as having general knowledge of the computer.
Budget: Responsible for the fiscal performance of the project, as well as update and review the job cost reports.
Invoicing: Responsible for reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices as well as generating owner applications or bank draws for payment.

The marriage of my high school sweetheart in July of 2006 caused the move to Grenada, MS. I began remodeling, renovating and building in the surrounding area. The most recent job was the construction of a 6000 square foot home in Winona, MS. I no longer have the desire to have my own business for several reasons. The economy in Mississippi isnt as good as a lone contractor would like it to be. The benefits of working for another company and giving them the experience that Ive obtained over the years is a much more intelligent choice for me as providing for my family is a must.
