When new ownership took over I was recruited to head up the Pre-construction and General Construction departments. As ABS ventured into development I worked in hand with the Development managers and our PEMB VP and we were successful in landing multiple aviation projects. In 2006, we obtained status of the sixth largest Pre-Engineered Metal Building Contractor in the US with sales of over $50 million. Among our projects, we designed and constructed a 90,000SF hangar building for maintenance of Boeing 747s in a record six months while concurrently designing and constructing a 90,000SF hangar building with 30,000 SF of office and tech space for the new Airbus A-380 airliner on the next lot.
