Principal Architect

Name : Donald Briggs
Industry Type : Architects
City & State : Hamilton,MT
Job Title Principal Architect
Relocation Preferences : Western United States
Objective : Background and Career Objectives

I am interested in acquiring a position with your company, where I may apply my education and experience to further your interests and goals. I am a licensed architect, certified through NCARB and currently registered in five states with the ability to add jurisdictions through reciprocity.
With 28 years in the architectural profession, I have worked with many clients on a wide range of project types and sizes. Prior to opening my private practice in 1993, I worked for several architectural firms, including 5.5 years as a corporate architect for Bass Pro Shops. In these positions I gained valuable experience in design, team management, project management, product creation, construction administration and consultant coordination.
This background prepared me to successfully operate an architectural firm from 1993 until 2009, while maintaining close friendships with many satisfied and often repeat clients. My recent work may be viewed on the Briggs Architecture website; I am a member of the USGBC and currently working toward my LEED AP accreditation.
With the current economic recession, I can no longer maintain my practice any where near the levels I have enjoyed for several years. At this juncture I am moved to explore alternatives, where my creative talent and business knowledge can benefit your company.
I am a great problem solver with good social and communication skills. Never, have I lost my thirst for learning or applying knowledge in new ways. I appreciate your consideration. Please contact me through your service at any time.
Thank you,
