ACHIEVEMENTS
Estimated and managed projects for various owners in most parts of Colorado. These projects include new and remodeled schools, military buildings, churches, restaurants, office tenant finish, hospitals and nursing homes, the Mapping Center at DFC, the Music Assoc. of Aspen and Information Services remodel for the City of Longmont.
Managed drywall and acoustic functions for the Thornton Town Center Mall including the base contract, tenants and management offices.
Successfully estimated and managed construction contract for Concourse E at Stapleton International Airport. Gained approval of general contractor and architect after submitting shop drawings, samples and literature. Negotiated with general contractor on change orders during construction.
Estimated and managed acoustical needs of many of the high-rises and hotels being constructed in Denver. Won approximately 2/3 of new construction bid by careful analysis and attention to detail. As a result, the acoustical department was able to average profits of 12% for all work after overhead.
Planned all office-related support systems for construction of City Center Marriott. Estimated and managed project, reviewed and approved contract, and ordered material. Conducted on-site inspections, and negotiated prices with the owner. Project closed with a 40% OH&P margin.
Continued a record of successful project completion at Inter-built with yearly average margins of approximately 25%. Have also brought new clients to this firm, and maintained existing clients. In 2007 $2M worth of work was completed. Landmark in DTC and other projects had a margin of 30%.
