ESTIMATOR

Name : PHILLIP KOHN
Industry Type : Specialty Contractors
City & State : KENOSHA,WI
Job Title ESTIMATOR
Relocation Preferences : negotiable
Objective :

August 14, 2010

To Whom it may concern,

I am applying for the position of senior estimator.

I have over 25 years experience in the commercial construction industry. My expertise is in:

Structural Steel
Miscellaneous Metals
Stairs
Rails
Sheet Metal
Architectural Fabrication
Fabrication
Erection

I was unemployed in the beginning of 2009 due to a move to a company that does strictly high end fascias and steel and glass canopies. The high end construction in commercial buildings has been pulled back and architects and owners are going to a more traditional appearance.

Back in April, I began working as a consultant to a company in Arizona that builds luxurious homes that have structural steel frames. I have done all of his estimating and some project managing by phone. But I am looking for full time work.

I am originally from California but moved to the Midwest in 2005.

I can bring to the table my years of experience and know how. I can hit the ground running on almost any project. I am capable of steering the estimating portion of the job to closing it out as a project manager.

I have excellent math skills in both trigonometry and geometry.

I believe I can be a valuable asset to your company.

My resume is attached along with a list of projects that I have been associated with over the years.

Thank you for your time,

Phillip Kohn
