ACCOMPLISHMENTS


 



  • Managed the multi-family project that completed 22 buildings with 352 apartment units for Continental Properties Company, Inc.  Handled the entire construction process and architectural design, including site selection and layout, developing the budget, drafting and managing bid process, working with civil engineers on topography and all underground utilities, applying and pulling building permits, rezoning,  entitlements and due diligence, and selecting and managing the general contractor.  Utilized a new method of contracting, effective negotiations and value engineering that resulted in $1.2 million of project savings. Completed the project two months ahead of schedule, which allowed property management to lease up sooner and generate an additional $300,000 in potential revenue.

 



  • Selected to turn around a $30 million project building luxury apartments in Savannah, GA for Continental Properties Company.  Earned the trust of the company president and the general contractor and worked diligently to expedite inspections with city officials to ensure that the project was on track, while overcoming difficult site conditions, personnel turnover and inclimate weather.  Worked closely with property management to lease the apartments, which resulted in the fastest lease up in corporate history while generating $340,000 in increased revenue and enabling the project to gain permanent financing.

 



  • Awarded Field Manager of the Quarter for two consecutive quarters and Top Field Management Newcomer Award at Centex Homes for accomplishing high company standards, including customer satisfaction ratings above 97% and holding the lowest variance unit cost in the division. The continued hard work and drive to be the best field manager created additional profits by way of the savings and more home sales from customers recommendations.

 



  • Honored with Rookie of the Year for ICI Homes for constructing a complex model home park with a newly designed old-world style product line in record time as well as building new homes. Overcame endless obstacles in the building process from no on-site power or water to managing and overseeing the continual changes directed by the President of the company.   • Led a nationwide campaign to locate, qualify, and procure a new architectural and engineering group to design two new cutting-edge, multi-family product lines for Continental Properties Company, Inc. Worked closely with the executive team by guiding them through the process to compose the innovative designs with creative input and interaction from the entire team.
