Ms. Woolleys background is extensive, encompassing all aspects of the profession.  Her last employment was as a Project Manager for AECOM (formally DMJM) with an emphasis on justice and juvenile detention.  At the time of her recruitment, she was the founding principal of ML Woolley Architecture, LLC with a focus on institutional and higher educational building types. 


Experience in - Project Management (Scope of Work, Proposal, Fee and Project Budget development and oversight;  Client Interface; Staff management and development.); Planning and Programming; Feasibility and Existing Condition studies and assessments; Design and Construction Administration (Including Design Build delivery systems); Document Quality Control.


Her experience includes the public sector as a Project Manager for the State of Utahs Division of Facilities and Management (DFCM).  Duties included pre-design through construction as an owner, including working with the agency she represented to identify and prioritize projects for legislative approval.


Her assignments included the Department of Human Services (DHS) and three Utah campuses (Southern Utah State (SUU) in Cedar City, Central Utah ATC in Richfield and Dixie College in Saint George.  DHS included two mental health campuses, the Division of Youth Corrections (DYC) and their public service facilities. 


 Experience in - Legislative Requests; Budget development and oversight; RFQ & RFP development ( Including Design Build, Construction Management, build to suit and request for lease space); Consultant and Contractor selection and administration; Construction Oversight.


Ms Woolley has been active in her community.  She chaired Salt Lakes Regional/Urban Design Assistance Teams (R/UDAT) steering committee in 1988, served on several boards including Salt Lake Citys Board of Appeals and Examiners for two terms (past chair), the Salt Lake Chapter AIA Executive Board of Directors (past president) and the ASSIST Board of Directors a community design assistance corporation (past chair).  She was also involved with the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Utah as an Adjunct Design Instructor in 1992 and a guest lecturer and design critic on multiple occasions.
