Job Description:	The main deliverables for the (Senior, Principal) Cost Estimator position will be: * A standardized philosophy and work process for estimating costs of global deepwater development systems * Detailed methodologies and tools as required to support the standardized cost estimating philosophy and work process * Recommendations for any organizational changes deemed necessary to support and sustain the cost estimating initiative long term (i.e. clarification of work process ownership, roles & responsibilities, staff additions, etc.) The (Senior etc.) Cost Estimator is expected to provide focus and leadership for this initiative, however it is expected that the various engineering communities will be actively involved. The intent is not to “reinvent the wheel”, but to adopt and build upon existing standard cost estimating methodologies and tools that are already successfully being used within company's world-wide and those that have been developed for deepwater projects over the past few years. * Relevant E & P, OP and/or industry experience of 10 - 15 years (Senior) and 15 - 20 years (Principal) * Experience with cost estimating for E&P or OP projects * Experience with Cost Estimating System (CES) or CAPCO$T is desirable, but not required * Excellent PC skills, with emphasis on database and data analysis * Demonstrated strong listening and communication skills * Strategic thinking skills
