Job Description:	MJK is currently seeking applicants for the Project Manager Position. The Project Manger plans, organizes and controls all resources (people and material) for the successful execution of a project. The Project Manager works out of the home office, travels to the jobsite weekly and reports to the Vice President. Duties include: • Responsible for project schedule, construction methods, staffing, and resource allocation. • Manages financial performance of the project. Processing owner pay estimates, subcontractor payments • Supervises and / or prepares all pre-construction services such as subcontracts, purchase orders, schedules, job cost set up and project pre-planning. • Works closely with Project Superintendent • Managing subcontractors and suppliers • Works with Safety Director to ensure safe working conditions and work practices • Directs weekly, onsite owner meetings • Construction engineering and design as needed. The position requires good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to negotiate and interact with other employees in a fair, firm and friendly manner is required. Applicants should have a minimum of a four (4) year engineering degree (CE or CM) and four to five years of related experience. Position potentially requires traveling weekly to the project location for the duration of the project (1-3 years typically).
