Job Description:	We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Physical Security Specialist/Project Manager, with expertise in designing and managing Physical and Electronic Security Projects. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: • 5+ years experience designing physical security systems including: Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Analog and IP video surveillance (CCTV), Emergency Communication/Mass Notification, Vehicular Access Control, Outdoor Perimeter Protection, Video Imaging and Badging Systems, etc. • Experience with varied markets including critical facilities (data centers, call centers, trading floors, etc.), healthcare, aviation, sports and entertainment, corporate interiors, and educational facilities • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills a must. • Must interface effectively with: Owners' representatives, landlord/facility managers, government agency representatives and inspectors, other design professionals etc. • Experience or familiarity with Risk Assessments, Threat and Vulnerability Assessments, and/or Knowledge of General Criminal Behavior is valued but not required. MAJOR ACTIVITIES: • Organize and manage a wide range of security projects • Coordinate security designs with project teams • Keep projects on schedule and budget • Develop construction documents for the procurement and installation of security systems; including CAD drawings and book specifications • Insure QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) processes are exercised over security projects • Maintain project efficiency • Communicate regularly with CL (Client Leader) • Communicate with PMs (Project Managers) of other services who may be managing other projects for your same client • Use technical standards and QC processes • Maintain client satisfaction–externally and internally • Manage project financial results • Participate in business development activities. COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: MS Windows, Excel, Word, Project and Outlook; AutoCAD beneficial but not required. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BS or equivalent relevant experience: • Minimum 5 years in a similar position, designing and specifying security systems. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: ASIS International PSP or CPP certification desired, or eligibility to obtain certification within one year. TRAVEL: Out of office travel is estimated to be 30% and can be as high as 50% depending on project requirements and work load. WORK LOCATION: This position will report to the New York Headquarters office and will require regular travel to this office. The actual work location is flexible and it may be possible to be located in one of our various field offices.
