Currently we are seeking to hire a FT/Permanent Estimator that possesses at least five years experience in concrete estimating. Responsibilities will include: ~Estimating all types of cast in place concrete work to include: structural concrete, foundations, slabs, tilt wall, paving, etc. ~Generating technical proposals. ~Assisting with bid reviews. ~Reviewing customer contracts prior to execution to ensure that terms, conditions, inclusions, and exclusions are represented accurately. ~Participating in pre-construction planning and post-job review meetings. ~Assisting with compilation of historical data from purchase orders, productivity analyses, and job cost system for the development of unit cost, man-hour, and crew production rates relating to future bids. ~Assisting in creation of pre-bid schedules, crew make-up, etc. Must Have Skills: 1.) Bachelors degree in Construction, Engineering, or related industry. 2.) 5-10 years of experience as an Estimator. Must have Field Experience with concrete and heavy construction. 3.) 2+ years of experience with Concrete Estimating. For your hard work, we offer competitive salaries ($50,000 - $85,000) and benefits including group health insurance, group life and long-term disability insurance, 401k retirement plan with company match, and paid vacation and sick leave.
