Job Description:	Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is looking for an Electrician for our Corporate Campus located in Lancaster, PA. Reporting directly to the Project Manager of Maintenance Services, this position is responsible for the following: * Laying out, installing, adjusting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of electrical equipment, apparatus and fixtures. * Knowledgeable in motor control circuit design and troubleshooting. * Understanding and following safety requirements such as locking out - tag out and PPE requirements. * Performing electrical construction in a manner that complies with all existing codes - National Electrical Code and Armstrong Engineering specifications. * Servicing and inspecting emergency lighting and power systems. * Installing and maintaining frequency drives. * Participating in ongoing electrical cost savings projects. * Purchasing part/supplies for projects. * Coordinating work with outside contractors. * Maintaining and repairing outside lighting. * Maintaining drawings and specifications. * Performing preventive maintenance, analyzes for potential problems and takes corrective action on craft specific equipment. * Participating in on-call rotation for the Campus, Hanger and Armstrong Manor. * Maintaining and balancing monthly Purchasing card transactions. * Performing other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * High School, GED, or trade school diploma, plus graduation from an approved apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in field. * Understands the electrical distribution theory and practices. * Knowledge of the National Electric Code. * Background in power supply and distribution systems. * Capable of using tools common to trade including: voltmeters, ohmmeters, meggars, relay test equipment, etc. * Understands types of motors and the most advantageous uses for each along with the nameplate data in determining branch circuit, overcurrent and short circuit protection. * Experience with boilers, elevators, pilot lines and utilities equipment a plus. * Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Internet Explorer).
