Job Description:	Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to really grow with a company? Due to growth and expansion, Ortega Group has an opportunity for an full time experienced estimator to join their winning team. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: College Education or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Construction Management preferred (continuing education in construction highly desirable) Ability to perform detailed take-offs and calculate quantities Ability to set-up bid in estimating software systems Familiar with both commercial and industrial large volume projects Proficient knowledge of estimating software (i.e. Master Builder) and Microsoft Office Experience with the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY), Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), New York New Jersey Port Authority (NYNJPA) is highly preferred Minimum of 7 years of construction experience with at least 5 years in estimating required Minimum of 4 years in a supervisory/management capacity preferred PE (Professional Engineer) certification desirable Valid driver's license required
