Job Description: The Estimator provides estimates and bids for HVAC and mechanical projects for our institutional, educational, and commercial clients. These projects can range in size from $50,000 to $20 million, and are usually located in the greater Boston area.

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing and understanding plans and specifications
*

Taking off piping systems, equipment and material with estimating software, and identifying labor and material costs
*

Communicating with subcontractors and suppliers
*

Preparing proposal letters
*

Preparing cost breakdowns
*

Identifying customer needs
*

Identifying project and schedule issues
*

Visiting job sites
*

Attending customer meetings

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is a must. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
