Job Description:	W. R. Hodgson Co., LP has an immediate opening for a Field Superintendent. The successful candidate will be part of a team that performs underground wet utility services for municipal, highway, residential and commercial projects. W. R. Hodgson Co., LP was named one of the fasted growing, privately held companies in the DFW Metroplex by the SMU Cox School of Business in 2004, 2005 & 2006. Continued growth has created the opportunity for a well qualified Field Superintendent within the organization.The organization is located in far north Collin County in the City of Celina. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate field activities with job foremen • Ensure timely completion of projects according to customer schedules • Ability to manage multiple, on going projects • Work closely with customer rep’s, engineers and inspectors Qualifications: • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings • 10+ years experience in underground, wet utility construction • Ability to plan activities - short and long term • Ability to manage multiple projects • Project scheduling experience • People management skills • Knowledge of industry specific and city specifications and requirements. • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with Owners’ representatives, engineering firms, inspectors, subcontractors, and other project team members • Local candidate preferred. Preferred Background: • Experience in municipal, highway, commercial and residential underground wet utility projects • Project sizes in the range of $100,000 to $6,000,000
