Job Description:	Primary responsibilities will be:· Evaluation of proposals from contractors for change orders and claims. · Develop bill of quantities (BOQ) and preparation of independent detail cost estimates for evaluation of proposed changes. · Participation in negotiations with contractors, representing AECOM, on claims and change orders negotiations · Preparation of estimates for alternate design and studies.Experience:The candidate must have up to 5 years of experience in estimating and change order management for large construction projects, preferably in the Piping and Mechanical Field. This individual will report to the Project Estimator and receive technical support from the Resident Engineers for scope definition and clarification. Candidate must be proficient in the use of industry estimating tools (Project uses Means Cost Works) and applicable software (Excel etc) and must have working knowledge of modern office procedures and in-depth knowledge of construction contract documents, including drawings and specifications. College education, either BA or BS required, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
