Job Description:	Service Project Manager/Estimator Position is responsible for responding, managing, and coordination of small estimates and proposals as requested for the service department. Position will be responsible for management and direction of Service Technicians to meet company service standards and financial objectives. Must plan and maintain daily operations to ensure that customer and IES expectations are met or exceeded generating repeat customers and that production achieves established productivity and profit goals. Participate in the development of new service business and on-going growth of existing customer relationships. The Service Estimator-Project Manager will be required to use his or her experience, sound judgment and initiative to successfully meet business objectives. Requires management and supervision of up to 10-15 technicians and up to 1.5 million in revenue. Requirements Essential Responsibilities • Responsible for small estimates • Coordination of schedules with the CSR/Office Manager, required manpower, tools and equipment to successfully complete all projects on time and on budget. • Ability to sell and close small projects for the service department. • Visit jobsites for project status and quality inspections of work performed to eliminate call backs. • Recruitment, training, development and supervision of all service operations personnel and maintaining staff levels to provide excellent customer service while meeting service department goals and objectives. • Working knowledge of estimating software. • Enforce IES Services and participation in their continuous improvement. • Weekly tracking and reporting to the Service Manager for all of the service department small projects that individual is currently assigned and managing. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the NEC and Local electrical codes, standards and ordinances as well as local power company standards. • Ensure customer satisfaction for all work performed and takes immediate action to resolve problems which might result in customer dissatisfaction. • Other responsibilities as may be assigned by management or required to meet the needs of the service department. Qualifications • 5+ years experience in the service contracting business with increasing levels of responsibility and proven record of success • Valid Oregon (or reciprocal) Journeyman’s Electrical License • Skilled at people management and efficient work processes that deliver outstanding customer service • Thorough understanding of electrical codes and standards • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to create and manage a positive and productive team environment Physical Requirements • Maintaining body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs or ladders. • Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner. • Standing, walking, and speaking for long periods of time • Using upper extremities to apply or exert a force of up to 20 lbs. • Typing, punching or applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm • Perceiving size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with the fingertips.
