Job Description:	Construction and supervision of concrete walls and slabs, specializing in the use of Insulated Concrete Forms to build exterior walls for residential and commercial buildings. We are hiring a unique set of personality traits, and not necessarily experience. This job is not for a laborer. Some supervision skills are necessary. Duties: * Setting forms, grading, placement of rebar, pouring and finishing of: footings, slabs, poured walls, ICF walls. * This position will include part time supervision, and will work into full time. Other opportunities will be presented based on your abilities. * There is a fair amount of customer interaction required. You must present yourself and the company well. * Candidate must actively participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain physical strength and health, and participate in professional organizations as requested. Company Description:	R-Value Concrete Structures got its start in 2004 when Jake Vierzen, president of R-Value, recognized the need in the industry for a reputable ICF installer in the area. Enough homeowners had installed ICF’s themselves in their basements that local builders had a bad taste in their mouth from poor workmanship. Jake knew from his (then) 9 years experience in commercial concrete construction that sloppiness was completely unnecessary, and saw the opportunity to provide high quality installation using the best products available. Still, many local builders were uncomfortable with something new, or they charged a hefty premium because they presumed ICF’s were expensive and they would have to fix the poor workmanship. We knew there was no reason to charge such a premium, and were convinced that ICF could be held to high standards.
