Responsibilities: The successful candidate will plan, direct and manage all activities of assigned projects to ensure company objectives for customer satisfaction, safety, quality, production, revenue and profit are met within a timely manner. This individual will be responsible and accountable for the project management system and tools for all assigned projects from the time a project is acquired through the final payment of closed projects. Additional responbilities include: managing the business development effort, generating and qualifying leads for subsequent development, performing key account planning and maintaining favorable business relationships with key accounts. In this role, this candidate will be responsible for preparing bids and proposals, executing bid strategy, providing input into the estimating process and generating market intelligence for capture and subsequent analysis. He/she will also assist in the development of marketing communications and product portfolio decisions, coordinate pilot projects and spearhead management of customer service. Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have a BS degree or equivalent preferably in Construction Management or Engineering or a related field with a minimum of five to eight years experience in field management construction. Previous experience in a water/ sewer or municipal environment a plus. Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Maximizer and JD Edwards software systems. Ability to travel by air and car required. EOE M/F/D/V
