We are currently conducting a search for a Project Manager for our Warren, NJ Headquarters office.

Minimum qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering the ability to obtain Professional Licensure in NJ within one (1) year of employment.
10 years of experience in civil/site design including concept site layout, subdivision design, zoning research and analysis, extensive knowledge of site grading, storm water management design, utility design, regulatory permitting experience, project management capabilities, good delegation skills, experience managing a staff of at least 5 people, experience with making public presentations, client management, exposure to proposal preparation, budget tracking, forecasting work loads and staff development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
NJ Professional Engineer, majority of work experience conducted in the NJ region, permitting experience with NJ land development (wetlands, CAFRA, stream encroachment, sewer extension, water front development, etc.). Design and management experience for Residential and Commercial clients ranging in size from 1 acre sites to 100 acre sites, construction oversight experience for site work, multiple presentations to municipal land use boards, conduct marketing presentations to potential new clients and develop new clients.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for essentially running your own business. Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to meeting with clients, initial project scoping, proposal preparation, staff utilization analyses, manage the production process, coordinate permitting approval process and then supervise project closeout towards procurement of the building permit. In addition, you would be ultimately responsible for collection of A/R’s, efficiency evaluations, profit evaluations and all basic financial management for your projects. In addition, you would be responsible for staff development and mentoring, business development which involves attendance at marketing functions, business dinners/events, and cross marketing with other Bohler offices.

Technical Knowledge:
In depth knowledge of civil site design and storm water management design.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project
Auto CADD knowledge (Version 2006) a plus.
Drainage Software – Storm CAD, Hydroflow, HydroCAD
