Job Description:	Description Our client, a prominent well-known and well capitalized New York City Corporation, is seeking a Project Manager for their in-house construction management team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Project Management, duties will include acting as the Owner's Representative, with the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with the respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of cost estimates of assigned projects; soliciting and obtaining bids from subcontractors and material suppliets;issue subcontracts and purchase orders after approved by the Project Manager and Superintendent. Requirements: 4-year degree in an accredited construction related cirriculum; minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on construction related projects; Demonstrate the ability to perform in these areas; estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, excellent oral/written communication skills; strong background with PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications. Commercial real estate project management experience required.
