Job Description:	Great opportunity to join a reputable general contractor and construction services firm with diverse and challenging projects that span across many markets in the greater Chicagoland area and other selected national markets. Leopardo is a leader in smart, innovative and sustainable construction and we currently are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our estimating team. This Chicago suburb based position calls for one who has the ability to write scopes and prepare detailed initial estimates that will be utilized and compared to external numbers submitted by subcontractors during bid efforts. Your ability to generate accurate numbers and thoroughly review and analyze those submitted by others to insure we have the most precise and competitive electrical bids will play a key role in our winning work. Familiarity with the local electrical subcontractor community and the ability to effectively work with them for best current pricing is also very important. As our in-house electrical expert, you will be a vital part of our estimating team and an active participant in multiple bid efforts. Needless to say the best candidates will possess a comprehensive electrical and electrical engineering background. You must also display positive and professional interpersonal communications skills across all phases of construction. We seek an individual with an Electrical Engineering degree, or at a minimum one with a construction-related degree and extensive experience where electrical estimating has been the emphasis. We seek a motivated and productive team player who has practical hands-on electrical experience and possesses a thorough knowledge of computer estimating systems. Electrical will be the focus but experience across other divisions is also a plus.
