Job Description:	Provides leadership in identifying opportunities, defining sourcing strategy and deploying that strategy for assigned categories of spend. Develops category strategy and implementation plan to leverage opportunities and monitors compliance and capturing of cost savings. Engages stakeholders in strategic sourcing process. Determines business requirements and analyzes sourcing situations. Maintains extensive knowledge of spend category, supply base and industry trends. Identifies and defines sourcing options based on the application of LCRA''s strategic sourcing process. Conducts risk mitigation analysis and drafts complex contracts. Develops and maintains documents for pre and post-board reviews and write-ups. Develops and leads the negotiation strategy towards LCRA objectives. Demonstrates expert use of negotiation tactics. Manages complex contracts and supplier relationships through use of contract administration tools, supplier review meetings, metrics reporting and supplier improvement programs. Participates in effective change management regarding supply management processes. Champions and implements new supply management processes and procedures throughout the organization and with key stakeholders. Perform other duties as required.
Company Description:	LCRA is a conservation and reclamation district created by the Texas Legislature in 1934. (See The LCRA Enabling Legislation.) It has no taxing authority and operates solely on utility revenues and fees generated from supplying energy, water and community services. LCRA supplies low-cost electricity for Central Texas, manages water supplies and floods in the lower Colorado River basin, develops water and wastewater utilities, provides public parks, and supports community and economic development in 58 Texas counties.
