Job Description:	Walsh Construction Company seeks qualified applicants for a Utilities Superintendent position in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidate will have a minimum 10+ years experience as a Superintendent working on civil projects with experience in underground utility work, and/or road and building construction. A minimum 15+ years in construction industry is required. Aviation experience, especially LAX & LAWA is highly preferred. The individual will be responsible for supervising multiple crews and subcontractors and coordinating with Owners, Engineers and Governing Agencies. A general knowledge base in shoring, support of excavation, dewatering, concrete work, earthwork, pile driving, water and sewer line construction and traffic control is desired. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, be able to prioritize, develop and maintain schedules. A knowledge of OSHA guidelines is necessary. OSHA 30 hour training, general knowledge of SWPPP and environmental regulations is a plus.
