Job Description:	We are actively seeking a Commercial Construction Site Superintendent with Strong Safety Training background. Two opportunities - One in Buffalo, NY and the other in Erie, PA - no paid relocation is being offered. Local candidates to these areas will be given preference. Job Description: SUMMARY: Must have prior experience managing large scale commercial construction projects. Provides on-site supervision and management of construction projects. Mentors and trains staff. Evaluates projects for effective utilization of resources. Suggests and implements changes to effectively use resources. Prior computer experience a plus. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES · Provides estimating support as requested · Projects the staffing for key field positions · Attends and participates in pre-job planning meetings · Assists with the Identification of Site Staffing and Equipment Utilization. · Helps to evaluate Labor and Non-Labor Risks · Assists with the Development of Critical Milestones Schedules · Participates in monthly Project Site Reviews · Assists with the identification and development of an ongoing list of premier trades people Identifies and provides training to Assistant Superintendents and Foremen. · Develops Jobsite Productivity programs and procedures · Serves as liaison between field and office staff1.12 Keeps supervisors aware of field concerns Coordinates with the LER Division to improve service to job sites · Helps to develop the Materials Re-use list · Provides input to supervisor for inclusion in the monthly activity report to the Management Team · Provides a mentoring relationship for staff EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS Candidate must have exp in supervision of the entire new build projects (commercial)from site to interior finishes and ALL aspects of the projects. Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of related job experience is required. Skills: Must be able to establish rapport and maintain effective management of staff. Must be able to use all related construction tools and equipment. Strong Safety Training and Knowledge is required (i.e. OSHA 30, etc.) Travel: Frequent overnight travel of several days’ duration is required.
