Job Description:	Growing company seeking experienced (5+ years) estimator that can perform accurate take-offs and project estimates for commercial, light industrial and site utility projects. We are seeking someone who can work with minimal supervision, and have effective analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is critical. Responsibilities and Qualifications * Experience in Plumbing and Mechanical trades. * Able to read drawings and specification to compile an accurate take-off and summary. * Strong working knowledge of mechanical system in commercial Plumbing field. * Perform the take-off of material quantities, assemble the estimate data and coordinate pricing, with estimating department team members as well as others that may be involved. (i.e., project managers). * Development of scope letter for submittal to clients. * Minimum of 5 years estimating experience (Mechanical / Piping / Plumbing). * Prepare final cost estimate summaries and analyze estimate for scope, pricing, completeness. * Knowledgeable in the use of QuickPen's AutoBid Mechanical. * AutoCAD experience desired, but not required. * Proven success in estimating of projects $200,000 to $2.0 million. * Self-motivated with strong communication and negotiation skills. * Detail-minded, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to multi-task. * Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to effectively convey information to customers. * Periodically follow-up with site/project personnel to review cost trends, forecast (or bids) versus the final estimate, problems and field means and methods. * Valid driver’s license and consent to criminal background check, drug screen, and pre-employment test.
