Job Description:	Ledcor's Civil & Infrastructure Division [Ledcor CMI Inc.] is actively seeking a Senior Level Estimator for its’ Phoenix, Arizona location. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of estimating tasks as a Bid Captain. This person must be exceedingly well organized, computer literate, creative, flexible, and able to travel part time, and enjoy challenges. They must also be able to work under minimal supervision, able to follow specific direction, work well as a team member, and be resourceful while maintaining efficiency. This fast-paced position requires someone who can multi-task and adapt to constantly changing priorities while maintaining a pleasant, professional demeanour. Qualifications / Requirements: Ledcor CMI Inc. Seeking an individual with eight to 10 years of experience in estimating, the following types of projects: complex multi-disciplined projects, heavy highway, infrastructure, commercial site development, structural concrete, pile driving, shoring, utilities (wet / dry). The preferred candidate will have a four year Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent technical training or related experience. Experience in Highway, Earthwork and utilities are required. Experience with computers and internet, HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, On-Screen Take-off, Heavy Job, and MS Office and Excel is required. Job Duties / Responsibilities: Perform quantity take-offs, analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects. Run estimating team as lead in hard bid, CMAR, Design Build, Best Value and other contract types. Position will include all aspects of bidding from procuring new projects to bid, ordering proposals, project site investigation, material and subcontractor solicitation, estimating labor and equipment costs, creating bid proposals, and various other tasks such as plan copying, and compiling project data books. Compensation: Salary is negotiable depending on work experience. We offer medical and dental insurance, in addition to vacation, holiday pay, and a company 401K plan. This position will remain open for 10 days and we are accepting 25 applicants.
