Job Description: OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for the development and updating of project schedules, site staging, logistic plans and presentation graphics for use by both corporate departments and project site.​ Interfaces on a daily basis with other members of the Scheduling Department, Business Development, Corporate Executives and Field Personnel.​


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

-Work with home office and project field staff in order to develop and maintain construction project schedules.​

-Identify, analyze and resolve constructability and logistic issues including schedule delays and associated costs.​

-Review and analysis of schedules and designs from consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.​

-Maintain historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.​

-Develop construction bar chart schedule, utilizing design drawings and construction experience/​knowledge and provide projects with periodic monthly updates.​


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

-Proficient in the use of various PC-based computer applications for Scheduling and Graphics; including such software programs as Primavera P6, SureTrak, FastTrak, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.​

-Ability to analyze delays within construction and make educated judgments and changes accordingly.​ Analyze, evaluate and forecast current schedule status against an established baseline schedule.​

-Good management and organizational skills with the ability to work on several projects at one time independently.​

-Ability to generate a baseline schedule for a project with a construction value in the range of $100-$300 million dollars.​

-Ability to manage and supervise one or more junior schedulers, as well as be a team player.​

-Excellent communication skills with Departmental and Project Staff and/​or Clients.​


REQUIREMENTS

-B. ​S.​ in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field required as well as an extensive knowledge of construction industry and building means and methods.​

-8+ ​ years experience in Construction Management and/​or Scheduling required, with a considerable amount of time performing delay analysis.​

-Fluent in the use of Primavera P6, Primavera Suretrack and MS Project is required.​
