Job Description:	We are seeking a results-driven Geotechnical Construction Project Manager in Chicago, IL who has the desire to work in a quality company with superior products and a reputation for excellence. This opportunity is specifically related to support of our growing ground modification business in the area of vibro technologies: vibro-compaction, aggregate piers, and stone columns. In this position, you will be responsible for day to day management of projects, estimating and proposal preparation, contract negotiations, managing change orders and claims, monitoring and managing project schedule, cost control and QA/QC requirements, project invoicing and securing payment. Qualified candidates must have 5 - 7 years Heavy Civil Construction or Geotechnical Construction experience with a BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Other requirements include: strong project management experience in general construction, drilling, piling, earth retention, ground modification, earth work, solid familiarity with all project contractual requirements and proven experience working effectively as a liaison with Engineers, General Contractors, and Owners. Experience within project development/marketing is preferred. Excellent communication, writing and computer skills necessary.
