Langan offers integrated engineering and environmental services for both public and private sector clients at sites located throughout the United States and abroad. Position Overview: Langan has an opening for an entry level Environmental Engineer / Scientist in our New York City office. As the successful candidate, you will have interest in conducting Phase I/Phase II's, drilling supervision, sampling, well installation, construction/remediation oversight, technical report and work plan writing. Qualifications: * B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Science or a related scientific field. * M.S. degree preferred * 0-6 years professional experience; * Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities; * Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment; * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; * New York State & City experience would be desirable; * Working knowledge of computers; and, * Availability to work overtime.
