Job Description:	POSITION IS BASED IN CHICAGO ILLINOIS * Provide single point of contact support for all levels of the customer hierarchy * Provide guidance and technical assistance to local contractors and subcontractors during bidding, planning and installation of systems * Manage and support global supply chain resources for all project requirements. This includes adherence to project schedules and ensuring accuracy of deliveries. * Liaise between local project teams, UTC and customer to ensure timelines are met and project information is being collected, recorded and reported as necessary. * Visit facility locations as necessary in preparation for subcontractor bidding and system installation * Provide technical presentations to local facilities management and local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure complete acceptance of design, performance and installation * Promote a sense of continuous improvement during the life of the project. Systems will be installed at ~30 different facilities in the US and Canada. Improvements must be implemented in all aspects of the project work. * BS in Mechanical, Fire Protection or Electrical Engineering and/or technical / construction management role. * MBA a plus * Experience in special hazards fire protection industry a plus * Work in detailed, time sensitive project management environment or hands on project/program experience a plus. * Ability to learn new technologies quickly will be very important * Excellent communication, presentation and reporting capability are a must. * Ability to communicate clearly with both mechanical / electrical contractors as well as CXO level executives is highly desirable No Relocation with this position United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
