Job Description:	Basic Function: Manage all areas of the electrical component of contract bidding, building and installation of SPG Solar PV systems and associated Electrical Distribution work. Function as the primary resource and the central coordinator for electrical cost estimating, electrical quality control, and electrical installations for large, commercial proposals and installations. Duties & Responsibilites: * Estimate costs, fees, and electrical material costs for all system orders. Estimate costs at the pre-contract stage, identifying any potential costs per customized installations. * Function as the central contact for all electrical interfacing, including troubleshooting and field support on customer sites. * Provide Quality Control standards for all electrical installations. Evaluate Quality Assurance on the job site and facilitate the required actions for compliance. * Ensure Safety Compliance regarding the electrical safety, and electrical code compliance for all installations. * Coordinate the work assignments of electrical subcontractors, while building an effective ongoing working relationship with each of them. * Perform as the Senior Electrician, assisting the Sales team, and the Installation teams, in follow up with customers regarding electrical issues. * Coordinate with the designers on all electrical components. * Establish and maintain effective communication channels with field personnel. * Perform other duties as assigned. Skill Requirements Qualifications/Skills: * Electrical Commercial Estimator with a minimum of 10 years of commercial field experience with electrical installation and applications. * Ability to fluently understand electrical plans in relation to large commercial Electrical systems and PV systems. * Associate Degree or completion of Electrical Apprenticeship program and California State Certification required. Additional coursework or certifications a plus. * Knowledge NEC and UBC guidelines and regulations. * Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, with ability to give direction and to follow direction. * Excellent customer relation skills, including professional appearance and manner; Effective oral and written communications skills, and computer literacy required. * Ability to perform effectively both in the field, and within the corporate office environment. * Clean DMV record, proof of auto insurance. Local and regional travel required.
