Job Description:	R&O Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, timely and winning cost estimates for federal and commercial construction projects. We invite you to apply if you meet the following minimum job requirements: Experience and Skills - * 5+ yrs. recent and successful track record estimating Corps of Engineers and commercial projects for a general contractor. Values of projects should have been $5 million and higher. * Advanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and the unique challenges involved in working with the Corps of Engineers and federal bases. * Demonstrated experience mentoring others and working in a collaborative manner. This position requires a leader with initiative and a drive to succeed. * Ability to interpret all levels of drawings from the conceptual through the construction phase of design, narratives, outlines and specifications. * Some travel required. The individual must be able to physically navigate a jobsite that is pre-construction and under construction. Education - Bachelor degree is highly preferred.
