Job Description:	Job Summary This is a full-time position located at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside. Incumbent must have the ability to develop and monitor budgets for large construction projects. Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills. Ability to function independently on assigned projects and effectively coordinate and provide leadership to assigned team members. The senior project manager works under the general direction of the program Director, Construction to carry out large construction projects for UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside. This position requires a high level of understanding of the construction management process. This individual must interact with the hospital department heads and senior leadership to manage projects within the established timelines and budgets. . Responsibilities - Works with the director of Planning, Design and Construction to review project designs and constructablity. -Reviews written timelines with the project managers, communicates changes in construction project schedules as needed. -Supervises the PUH and Shadyside project managers in the design, equipment procurement, construction and commissioning of all hospital and University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine projects. -Oversees all aspects of renovation and new construction projects including design, planning, estimating, scheduling and construction management service. Basic Qualifications -Bachelors Degree with 5-7 years construction experience required. Solid knowledge of hospital construction and health care equipment required. Strong working knowledge of project management principles. Registration for Architect or Engineers preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience.
