Job Description:	Carpenter/Stagehand ON CALL needed. Description * This position reports to the Head Carpenter, La Nouba; * Install, assemble and repair set elements; * Assist with maintenance and inspection of all installations; * Run shows and reherasals, do cues; * Ensure smooth operations of all set elements during performances; * Oversee offstage storage of set elements; * Ensure a safe work environment at all times; * Adhere to all OSHA regulations and follow safety procedures; * All other duties as assigned by the Head Carpenter, La Nouba. Qualifications * Must have a high school diploma; * Must have 2 years previous experience working on large-scale productions; * Must have written and spoken fluency of English, French is an asset; * Must have working knowledge of MS Office applications; * Training in scene technology is a plus; * Knowledge of carpentry, welding, pneumatics and hydraulics are an asset; * Must be flexible and have the ability to work in a team; * Work Shifts vary due to available open schedules. There is no defined schedule. This is an ON CALL, scheduled AS NEEDED position to fill in for sick calls, vacations, holidays, special projects, etc.
