Job Description:	Planner / Scheduler - Industrial Construction Needed. Fox-1 is currently looking to place a Planner / Scheduler on-site at a large refinery here in the Twin Cities. The candidate that is hired will become a fully benefited Fox-1 employee and be placed as a contractor at the refinery. This contract will be long-term. The position will require monthly travel. You will be based at the refinery here in Minnesota - but will travel 1 week out of the month to Fairbanks, Alaska. The Planner / Scheduler will act as the owners representative for the refinery. Scheduling is generally done in P3 or P6 and can be provided by more than one source (Refinery, Engineering firms, Contractors, and Construction Managers). The position requires coordination, integration or consolidation to assure successful project completion. Some of the activities include: * Internal and external scheduling coordination and scheduling support as needed. * Evaluate schedules for completeness of project activities and milestones. * Monitor progressing to avoid unrealistic projected completion. * Evaluate activities for reasonable duration and effective breakdown of work. * Facilitate regular scheduling progress meetings. * Act as primary liaison on behalf of the refinery with various scheduling resources. * Develop standards and procedures for large capital projects. * Evaluate and critical path and provide schedule risk analysis. * Provide input on contingency plans. Requirements: * Demonstrated proficiency in industrial construction scheduling - 2+ years * High School education or Equivalent * Ability to work a flexible schedule to support the refinery. PREFERRED: * Proficiency in Primavera products i.e. P3 or P6 * Work experience in the refinery / petrochemical / ethanol construction field.
