Job Description:	Responsibilities: Stantec's Seattle office is looking for talented, environmentally conscious individuals to join our growing buildings engineering team! We are bicycle-friendly and located in a naturally ventilated building just one block from Pike Place Market. Our office has won national awards for our sustainable mechanical designs and is a recognized leader in the Pacific and Northwest regions. We are looking for an experienced project manager. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in management of mechanical designers on various project types. Prior significant LEED design experience is an asset; a desire to promote sustainability, essential. The role will include client-focused project management, leadership of project teams, project financial management and technical design. Applicable skill set includes: strong communication skills, time management, supervision, mechanical building design. Qualifications: * 10+ years of experience in the design of mechanical building systems in commercial and institutional sectors. * Strong skills in HVAC, fire protection and plumbing design. * Excellence in client relationships, business development, project management, and team mentorship. * Ability to work and communicate with client and other consultants in team-based, collaborative environment. * Knowledge of green design practices, including direct project experience, is desirable. LEED accreditation is an asset but not required. * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or diploma from mechanical design technology program. * PE preferred but not essential.
