Job Description:	Set up the Estimate and report progress and resources to the Chief Estimator/Preconstruction Manager · Create a file for each estimate and file estimate documentation · Compile a list of relevant and capable trades for budgeting or tendering · Prepare trade tender documentation · Oversee the issuance of tender packages to the trades · Contact trades regarding invitations, addendums, tender closings and follow up · Oversee and participate in the production of quantity take-offs for all areas of the estimate · Ensure the take-off is well notated for hand-over to the project team · Attend tender review or preconstruction design meetings as required · Monitor drawing revisions and inform client of any cost implications · Ensure estimates include safety and security requirements required by Ledcor policies and applicable legislation Skills Job knowledge & understanding · Judgment · Organizational and Planning ability · Teamwork & Working with others · Dependability and Productivity · Communication skills · Employee Relations · Leadership skills 7 to 10 years construction estimating experience
