Job Description:	Description: R.H. White Construction Company, a respected Massachusetts General Contractor, with a reputation for quality and excellence, is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our Estimating Department. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have: • demonstrated experience performing Mechanical Estimations for process piping on water, wastewater treatment pumping stations, treatment plants, natural gas plants, and industrial piping systems. • experience reviewing bid specifications, drawings, attending pre-bid meetings, soliciting pricing from subcontractors and vendors, and performing complete take-offs and pricing on the work to be performed. • significant experience negotiating subcontracts and purchase orders and will post bid duties to include organizing and setting up a project for transfer to operations. • must be self-motivated, well organized, and have demonstrated excellent communication skills The successful candidate must have 5 to 8 years of demonstrated work experience as a Mechanical Process Piping Estimator. A BS Degree in a construction engineering related discipline along with excellent computer skills, particularly with Timberline Estimating Software, are absolutely essential.
